Your Personalised Skincare

Dr Storm’s ‘Personalised Skincare’ is a compound dermatological preparation with a cream consistency.

Using Personalised Skincare

Do not use this cream if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any ingredient listed: aloe barbadensis leaf juice, C 13-14 isoparaffin, caprylic/ capric triglyceride, deionised water, laruth-7, maltodextrin, phenosyethanol, polypolyacrylanide, tocopheryl acetate, triethylene glycol, hyaluronic acid, tretinoin and azelaic acid. Please contact us at team@drstorm.co.uk if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.

Using Personalised Skincare at the same time as other medicines may impact the effectiveness of one or all products.

Please tell us if you are using, have recently used, or might use any other medicines.

How to use Personalised Skincare

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or nurse have told you. Personalised Skincare should be applied externally onto the skin.

  1. Cleanse the skin with your Dr Storm cleanser.
  2. Use lukewarm water.
  3. Use either a soft flannel or your fingertips to cleanse.
  4. Rinse the cleanser off entirely
  5. Never just wash your face in the shower with your shampoo.
  6. Pat the skin dry.
  7. Make sure that your hands and the skin where you are going to apply the cream are clean, dry and unbroken.
  8. Remove the lid cap to reveal the pump.
  9. Dispenses two pumps of the cream, ensuring you push down firmly each time.
  10. This is in a cream formulated for you depending on your skin concern.
  11. The applicator dose is set to your required amount of Nightly Fix, do not use any more than 2 pumps per application.
  12. Apply to the face but avoid direct eye contact and wash your hands after use.
  13. Dr Storm moisturiser should be used on the face and neck area after your Personalised Skincare.

If you use more of Personalised Skincare than you should, you may experience side effects.

If you forget to use your Personalised Skincare, use it as soon as you remember and then continue as before. Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Possible side effects

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.The main side effects associated with using topical tretinoin include: following the application of tretinoin to the skin, there often is local inflammation. This reaction disappears when treatment is stopped. Mild stinging or a sensation of warmth also can occur when applying tretinoin.

The common side effects of tretinoin are: excessive dryness, scaling, itching, redness, increased sun sensitivity, darkening or lightening of the skin and initial acne flared-up. Topical tretinoin is recommended during lactation.

The main side effects associated with using topical hydroquinone include: severe burning, stinging, or warmth; severe itching or tingling; severe redness, dryness, peeling, or other irritation; or changes in skin colour.

Storage of your Personalised Skincare

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date, which is stated on the dispensing and batch label.

The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. You should store your cream at room temperature (15 ºC- 25ºC) or different is specified in the dispensing label.
